Jesse Little Ready for 2017 NASCAR K&N Pro Series Debut

PRE-RACE PRESS RELEASE for Bristol (April 17, 2017) - Jesse Little, a two-time winner on the NASCAR K&N Pro Series, gets his 2017 season started on April 22 with the running of the Zombie Auto 125 at Bristol Motor Speedway.  Little will carry primary sponsorship from longtime partner NASCAR Technical Institute, a brand of the Universal Technical Institute.  In the last three Bristol starts Little has posted two top -5 starting positions including the pole award two years ago.   View Jesse's Pole award from 2015 at Bristol

Jesse's quotes:  "Bristol is one of the great race tracks in all of motorsports and requires plenty of focus each lap. To be successful in the past our team has been quick right off the trailer, used that speed to gain a solid starting position and from there worked hard to get the best finishes possible," Little said.
"We're excited to have NASCAR Technical Institute onboard again this year with our NASCAR K&N Pro Series team. The students do a great job in their engine department and in turn that's given us pole awards and race wins during my career. We can't wait to get to Bristol and show the NTI horsepower in our Toyota Camry," Little said.

Our Sponsor:  UTI's Vice-President of NASCAR, John Dodson, is equally excited about the continued partnership with JJL Motorsports.  " Everyone at Universal Technical Institute & NASCAR Tech is excited about another season with Jesse. He's a wonderful talent and an example for other drivers to follow both on and off the track. Jesse has a great connection with our students and he exemplifies the professional aspects that we teach here every day at NASCAR Tech. UTI and our students are proud to be associated with Jesse and his team. Our student built NASCAR Spec Engines have powered Jesse to victory in the past and we are certain that we will all celebrate victory with Jesse again in 2017 ."   In addition to UTI and the NASCAR Technical Institute's continued partnership with JJL Motorsports, PFC Brakes and Racing Electronics have rejoined the team as associate sponsors.

Bristol Post Race Notes 4/24/17
RAINY BRISTOL WEEKEND COMES TO A CLOSE:  Finishing the NASCAR K&N Pro Series practice sessions with the second fastest lap of the day, Jesse Little and his NASCAR Technical Institute race team were eager to see what results could be gained in qualifying. Mother Nature had other plans as the time trial session was rained out and the starting grid set by points. With the Zombie Auto 125 being Little's first event of the season, he was forced to start shotgun on the field (26th) and race his way to the front.  Early in the race Little's Toyota suffered RF suspension issues and received damage when his Camry made contact with wall on lap 40. Unable to make repairs, Little was relegated to a 23rd place finish.

JESSE LITTLE BRISTOL POST-RACE QUOTE: "We had an amazing car right off the trailer. Our NASCAR Technical Institute Camry was fast and our team felt we had a good chance at earning a top-5 starting position and maybe even contend for the pole. With the rain wiping out the qualifying session we knew that it'd be a battle to get to the front. Having the sway bar arm break and cause a right front tire to go down was a tough way to end the weekend that's for sure. Racing can be challenging. We were running well and those things can happen.  "We'll get to work on getting our Camry repaired for our next run on the NASCAR K&N Pro Series but for now we're focusing on our first Camping World Truck Series start on June 2 at Dover International Speedway. We've got a solid program in the Truck Series, have run well at Dover in the past and our team is excited to get back there for our first start of the season in the series."
