Jesse's Post Race Quotes:  "It was great to see fans back at Bristol. My family was sitting in turn 3 and got to waive to them prior to the race so that was special.  The car looked awesome with the support of Visit Kingsport and Tufco Flooring.  Even though our finish didn’t reflect it, the team and I learned a ton Friday night.  The team never gave up on the tuning of the car and I able to preserve a decent points finish. We can take a lot of the info we learned and the tire use for the final stretch races.  We’re excited to get to Vegas this weekend where we notched our first top 15 finish in just our second race together. Also, I want to thanks everyone who participated in our Visit Kingsport contest.  We hope you enjoyed the race Hunter Bowen, who won 2 tickets to race!  Thanks everyone for your support, its means alot" Jesse

Jesse's Post Race Quote:  "We completely missed the set-up. Fought the entry, middle and exit the entire race; ill-handling car would be an understatement and does not even begin to cover it. I am determined more than ever. We'll regroup, learn from it and go get'em at Bristol. My JD Motorsports guys have my back and I have their back. I know with the right set up we can run in top 15 and top 10. We have something to prove now at Bristol."   JESSE

Darlington, Sat, Sept 5th, 2020 --- Special thanks to SHRINERS Hospitals for Children!
Live on NBC, 12:30 pm ET, Xfinity Series

Darlington Raceway:   Start: P10 Finish:  P18

Jesse's Post Race Quote:
Thank you Shriners Hospitals for Children and entire JD Motorsports team. The car was fast early. I hate we didn't have the finish that the speed in our car was capable of delivering. We fought carburetor issues halfway through the race that killed us with track position and speed. I wish we could have given Shriners Hospitals a little better showing, but was able to salvage our day with a top 20 and that shows the fight in our team. Looking forward to the Richmond next weekend with back to back races again. JESSE

Jesse's Post Race Quote:  "Frustrated with how our weekend went at Dover. We were behind the ball from the drop of the first green flag. We just could never get a handle on the car and fought with the balance the entire weekend. I can't thank Johnny Davis and my JDM guys enough for not giving up. And of course Drydene for their support this weekend. I can't wait to get to Daytona with our Skuttle Tight Chevy and fight for the win"”  JESSE

Daytona Road Course, Sat Aug 15th , 2020
Live on NBCSN, 3:00 pm ET, Xfinity Series

Daytona Road Course:   Start: P24 Finish:  P18

Jesse's Post Race Quote:  "Daytona road course was a decent day for us. I am bummed we did not get the finish we wanted, but it was still a solid day and we stayed on track for the most part. Learned a lot and getting better at turning right! Thought we may have a top 10, but the last few laps were tough as throttle pedal was getting stuck and had to pick it back up with my foot. We went from 7th to 18th in last few laps but managed to limp it home without any major damage. I’m excited to go to Dover, a track I always ran well at and continue our momentum. As always, I can’t thank JD, my partners, sponsor and family enough for this opportunity..”  JESSE

Live on NBCSN, 12:00 pm ET, Xfinity Series

Road America:   Start: P14 Finish:  P28

Jesse's Post Race Quote:  "Road America was a tough day for the 4 team and myself.  We battled carburetor issues all day and got stuck a couple laps down which is hard to overcome at a road course.  We still have the car in one piece and can't thank my JD Motorsports guys enough for their relentless effort.  We hope to get it better for Daytona this coming weekend where we look forward to a strong run for our partners and sponsors.”  JESSE

PRE-RACE PRESS RELEASE for Road AmericaJesse and JD Motorsports Looking to Bounce Back at Road America , CHARLOTTE, NC (August 8th, 2020):  "Road America is a historic facility and I can't wait to make my first couple laps around there,' Jesse said.  I've spent the time on the sim and studied film enough to be comfortable going there for my first time with no practice. We will start 14th which is great for Track position and I hope that'll allow us to run our race and be in a smart position till the end. I'm excited for the new pit Road procedures as that will add another level of strategy to the day and could give a small team like us a shot upfront. As always I'm very grateful for the continued help and support from all of my partners and sponsors this year and look forward to finishing out the last third of the season strong"  Jesse said    Click here to read the full Road America PRE-RACE Press Release....

Kansas Speedway, Sat July 25th , 2020
Live on NBCSN, 5:00 pm ET, Xfinity Series

Kansas Speedway:   Start: P14 Finish:  P33 (accident)

Post Race Quotes:  "Kansas was certainly an unfortunate race for us. We struggled from the beginning and just could never get a good balance on a race car after pitting several times.  Around lap 165, I was involved in the unfortunate accident, taking us out with a broken track bar.  It’s one of those races that we will chalk up to memory and know what not to do next time we go there.  I appreciate all the hard work from my Johnny Davis motorsport guys. We will use this off week to get better prepared for the next string of races and get back to the strong finishes we’re familiar with.”  JESSE

PRE-RACE PRESS RELEASE for KansasRookie Jesse Little is Knocking on the Door of a Playoff Position, CHARLOTTE, NC (July 22, 2020):  It's common knowledge that a rookie and an underfunded team should not be knocking on the door of the NASCAR Xfinity playoffs.  But that is right where Jesse Little and his JD Motorsports team stands.  With 8 races left in the regular season Jesse currently sits 16th in points, 20 points back of 13th, and 50 back of 12th.  Certainly within striking distance of making the playoffs for Jesse and his JD Motorsports team.  "The team and I have definitely found our rhythm in the last couple of months. We have had nothing but consistent finishes and now find ourselves in the NASCAR Playoffs discussion,"  Jesse said. "We are on the outside looking in for sure, but I believe with some support and the right partners we could make a strong run and fight for some top 10s rather than just top 15s. It's been great so far to close the points gap to what it is now. We will continue to focus hard on finding sponsorship as well performing on the track."  Click here to read the full Kansas PRE-RACE Press Release....

POST RACE QUOTES by Jesse: “Texas was a battle for us from start to end. We fought the balance of the car for the majority of the day.  But we kept working on it and kept fighting for track position and was able to secure a P14 finish.  Another top-15 shows the resilience of the team and myself; and continues to remind us that we belong fighting for that last playoff spot.  I’m excited to get to Kansas and continue the momentum”

KENTUCKY Race #1 - POST RACE VIDEO Recap by Jesse:

KENTUCKY Race #2 - POST RACE QUOTES:
"I am happy with the consistency of another Top 15, but I am also disappointed because we had a great car capable of a better finish.  On lap 52 after running up front in the Top 10, we had a pit road penalty for an uncontrolled tire and had to start from the back.  This was unfortunate since track position is such a key factor for a good finish at Kentucky.  I learned alot at this race and am very happy with our team's strong momentum right now.  Excited for the next handful of races.  We will continue to get better. Special thanks to the support of KSDT CPA this weekend"

PRE-RACE PRESS RELEASE for Kentucky 7-8-20:  The No. 4  JD Motorsports with Gary Keller team has proven they're a Top 15 team week in and week out.  Jesse's PRE-RACE quotes: "I can't wait to get to Kentucky this weekend and have two chances to continue our recent success. Live on NBC, 3:00pm ET, Xfinity Series

Indianapolis Motor Speedway:   Start: P13  Finish:  P18

Jesse's post race quotes:  “It was a quiet race for us at Indy which was good.  We actually dropped to the the rear of field prior to the green flag since I had not ran a road course race since 2015 and only had one lap of practice.  I felt our finish was fair.  We stayed on track the whole race and avoided getting in any incidents. I’m exited to get to Kentucky and build onto our momentum we have had.”

PRE-RACE PRESS RELEASE 7-3-20:   Jesse's PRE-RACE quotes for Indy: "The team and I have some great momentum going on right now,"  Jesse said.  "We've knocked off three consecutive good finishes including our first top 10. This gives me great confidence going to a track this weekend that not only me but no one has ever been to. We're just gonna keep doing what we have been and take care of our equipment and run our own race. This will be my first road course since 2015 so it's certainly going to be important to approach it with the right mindset."  READ THE ENTIRE INDIANAPOLIS PRE-RACE PRESS RELEASE.....

Jesse's Post Race Quotes for Phoenix 3/7/20:  "The weekend was a struggle to get both speed and handling worked into the car. However, we didn't give up and kept our heads down and digging. We made it better all race long and were able to drive into the top 20 with 10 laps to go. We'll go back to the drawing boards with our short track setup package and also focus our attention to Atlanta this weekend." Jesse

"During the weekend, I was blessed to be able to continue my involvement with the Shriners Hospital for Children.  It was so amazing to have Kaitlyn, her Mom Gina, and brother Justin, out at the track with us on Saturday.  Kaitlyn is a patient ambassador with the Shriners hospital for Children and to see her attend and enjoy her very first race was incredibly special! AUTO CLUB RESULTS:   Start: P16  ,  Finish: P28

Jesse's Post Race Quotes for AUTO CLUB SPEEDWAY 3/2/20:  “The race was a frustrating one. We had showed promising speed in practice and qualifying but something went wrong at the very beginning. We made adjustments all day and not a single thing responded according, which is what tells us something is off. The team will go to work and figure out the issue and we’ll turn our focus on Phoenix and get ready to go battle.”

"Prior to the race, I was blessed to be able to visit the Shriners for Children Medical Center. This visit was very special to me. It was amazing to see the joy and happiness that those kids showed when getting to talk with them. JD MOTORSPORTS WITH GARY KELLER TABS JESSE LITTLE TO RACE FULL TIME IN THE NASCAR XFINITY SERIES IN 2020

Gaffney, SC – 11/7/19

JD Motorsports with Gary Keller is proud to announce that Jesse Little will be driving for the team full time in the 2020 NASCAR Xfinity Series season, starting at Daytona International Speedway in February.

Little, a third-generation racer out of Sherrill’s Ford, North Carolina, cut his teeth racing most recently in the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series for his family operated team. In 30 truck series starts, Little earned seven Top 10 finishes with a best-career finish of sixth. Though he does not have an NXS start to his credit entering the 2020 season, he has competed in two Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series races.

In addition to his on-track stats, Jesse was also included in the honorable NASCAR Next class of 2014-2015 and 2015-2016, where he was touted as one of the best up-and-coming young drivers in the national series ranks.

His father, Chad Little, had a long, successful career in his own right, earning six career wins in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. He most famously raced for Roush Racing in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s, posting sixteen Top 10 finishes in the Cup Series. Jesse looks to expand on the successful family lineage next season with JDM.

Jesse was quoted prior to the announcement saying "I am beyond excited to have the privilege to race full time in 2020 for JD Motorsports with Gary Keller in the NASCAR Xfinity series. It's something I have honestly dreamed about since I can remember. They are a successful, established, team that I can't wait to begin working with. I hope to represent Johnny, the JDM brand, and especially all their partners, to the highest satisfaction.”

Following Jesse to the Xfinity Series will be longtime partners SkuttleTight, Dkota Investments, Parker Fiber Net, and Visit Kingsport, who have supported him throughout the Truck Series ranks. More sponsors will be announced at a later date.

Though the NASCAR Xfinity Series season is winding down for 2019, our team is focused on making 2020 a successful one. Be sure to keep an eye out for more driver lineup announcements coming shortly. Jesse's Pre-Race Quotes:  "I always look forward to Charlotte,” said Little. “It’s an important race for a lot of people. For a lot of my guys, this is their hometown race, so everyone’s morale is up because we feel like can go and put on a show on Friday night.”  “Charlotte’s an extremely fast track and the Trucks put on a great show there,” added Little. “It’s a relatively quick race, so we learned that track position is crucial for this race. We also need to make sure we keep our truck balanced as the track and weather conditions change throughout the day, especially with practice in the morning, qualifying in the afternoon and the race at night. “We had a good truck last year and were in the hunt for a top-10 finish but had some late race obstacles that prevented us from getting there.  Despite those obstacles, we fought as a team, learned a lot and wound up with a decent 16th finish. “Hopefully we can take with what we learned last year and in our races this season and can get a top-10 on Friday night.”

The team also hopes their performance on Friday night will spark the interest of a potential new marketing partner as the team continues to compete without the benefit of a primary partner.  “It takes a lot of people and even a bigger effort to get our No. 97 Ford to the track each week,” explained JJL Motorsports team owner Jason Little. “We continue to fight hard and go to the race track every week and give 100 percent. We’d like to increase our schedule this season but need the sponsorship and investor support to make it happen.  Interested parties that would like to learn more about sponsorship and investor opportunities are encouraged to contact us."

Dover Race, 5/2/19
Race will air on FS1 at 5:00 pm ET, Gander Outdoor Truck Series

Jesse had a fast truck at Dover. After finishing Stage 2 in 7th place, Jesse was running lap times the same as the leader, positioning himself to be up front at the end to battle for the Win. Unfortunately, in last stage, bad luck struck when the right rear tire blew, taking Jesse into the wall and eventually out of the race with a broken track bar. The next race is Charlotte - Jesse is focused and ready for redemption!

As a UNC Charlotte Student, Jesse was especially affected by the tragic event that occurred on campus.  To honor the victims, Jesse ran a special logo on the truck for Dover.   Our prayers go out to all the people impacted and their families.

Jesse Pre-Race Quotes for Las Vegas: "Although I am very disappointed with our P23 finish last weekend at Atlanta, I'm really proud of our JJL Motorsports team.  We struggled to get a good driving truck all night. It was a challenging weekend because of the weather and with qualifying getting canceled, we had to fightfrom the back of the field to the front.  We were able to make great gains during the race that put me in contention for for a Top 10 finish, but unfortunately was involved in the big wreck at the end. "Going forward we continue to focus on improving the speed in the Trucks and working with more sponsors and partners to expand the program." For Las Vegas, we learned a lot last fall," added Little. "It was a solid finish for us last year but I think we can take how our truck responded during practice and the race and be in a much better place for this Friday's race. After last weekend, I think everyone is eager to get back to the track and get a chance to redeem ourselves."

Atlanta Race Preview!
As a team, JJL Motorsports returns to Atlanta hoping to repeat their 2018 performance which saw Little contend for his first career Truck Series win - but settle for an eighth-place finish following a late race restart. For Little, he sees Atlanta as not only an opportunity for redemption, but a chance to impress his sponsors and a new team roster.

Jesse's Quotes: "I'm ready to go," said Little. "It's been a busy offseason - and we have some great sponsors and new faces on the JJL Motorsports team - but I'm eager to get to Atlanta and see what happens. "It's going to be a competitive race, but Atlanta is a track that suits my driving style and I feel like we can go there and contend for the win. "Our Atlanta performance really put us on the map last year and let everyone know right away that we are contenders. This year though we've set goals to run in the Top 5 and win races and I think we'll be able to achieve them."

Skuttle Tight returns as Primary Sponsor: Skuttle Tight, a Willmar, Minn.-based manufacturer that offers two insulted attic access systems that are easy to install return to Little's No. 97 Ford F-150 as a primary partner for the 130-lap event.
"We are excited to once again partner up with JJL Motorsports and Jesse Little for our NASCAR marketing for the 2019 season, offered Skuttle Tights' Chad Kompelien. "Most of the customers that use our products drive trucks and we know JJL and Jesse will be great ambassadors for us."
